Options include daily, weekly, and monthly passes catering to adults, children under 19, students, and individuals aged 19 to 25. The full spectrum of MCard tickets is valid on all West Yorkshire operator vehicles, excluding specialized services - ensuring seamless travel across First, Arriva, Transdev, and other bus companies in the region.
Offering a convenient and swift ticket purchasing experience, MCard Mobile eliminates the need for cash transactions, smartcard downloads, or paper printing. Secure transactions via SagePay coupled with a practical 'repurchase' feature on expired tickets ensure effortless future transactions. This platform empowers users to procure tickets in advance and activate them at their convenience - with each purchase yielding a single ticket and an accompanying receipt sent via email.
Upon registration on MCard Mobile, users can effortlessly select desired tickets by providing basic personal and billing information. Saving details streamlines future transactions for enhanced convenience.
Accessible within the 'Available' section of the Ticket Wallet until activation, tickets can be readied for use with an Internet connection. Activated tickets display a scannable code and a countdown timer expiring at 4am after the designated end date - making for efficient utilization through quick scans at your journey's outset.
For concessionary purchases such as those for Under 19 or 19-25-year-olds and students, carrying proof of eligibility may be necessary while traveling. Acceptable forms of verification range from Under 16, 16-18, 19-25 or Student PhotoCards to NUS cards, driver’s licenses, or passports. Mature full-time students are advised to present their 19-25 or Student PhotoCards accordingly.
Although an Internet connection is requisite for signing in, purchasing, and activating tickets, offline functionality allows for viewing and scanning without network access - striking a balance between usability and accessibility.
